Graduate-Level Semester Credit

Earn Graduate-Level Semester Credit with the Oakland Unified School District and University of the Pacific – Benerd College.

Oakland USD is dedicated in providing a rigorous and robust induction experience that deserves recognition at a graduate level. That’s exactly why we are prepared to help you earn credit quickly and easily, all at an affordable cost of only $50 per semester credit. Registration is available to all current (ongoing) and past Induction candidates, ECO candidates and mentors.

In order to award graduate-level credits, University of the Pacific – Benerd College will need to verify your induction program completion at Oakland USD.

If you have previously received an Oakland USD Induction Transcript that verifies your program completion, please upload your documentation at checkout when registering for your desired courses. Allow 1-2 weeks for your information to be reviewed and approved.

If you are a current participating candidate (teacher, intern or mentor), Oakland USD Induction will be able to verify your program completion once you have successfully completed all program components. Your program completion will be verified and approved by Oakland USD after your university credit application is received and reviewed. Please contact OUSD New Teacher Support and Development to determine when you can expect your application to be approved or if you have already completed your program and need to obtain your UOP Transcript.
