Graduate-level professional development credit is not part of a degree program at University of the Pacific but can be transferred at the discretion of your institution for salary advancement and state licensing requirements. Candidates seeking credit for such purposes are advised to check with the appropriate agencies and gain approval prior to registering.

Proof of Completion

In order to award graduate-level credits, University of the Pacific – Benerd College requires that you submit proof completion for your registered pathways.

About the Credits & Pacific

The credits offered are post-baccalaureate, graded, graduate-level semester (non-degree) credits provided directly through University of the Pacific – Benerd College. They are specifically designed to meet the needs of educators for Salary Advancement and Recertification.  The credits are acceptable where local districts approve and applicable to state licensing where authorized. We always encourage that you check with your employer for acceptability of these credits. Course participants are responsible to determine acceptability of these credits for their intended use.

Grades & Transcripts

Completed courses are graded under the Pass/No Credit grading system. All course grades will appear on an official transcript from University of the Pacific – Benerd College.  

How It Works:

Complete a pathway with EdTech BCOE.
Successful completion of an EdTech BCOE pathway is a prerequisite to registering for graduate-level credit with University of the Pacific - Benerd College. All coursework must be completed and submitted within a single, traditional school year (August 1st to June 30th)

Be prepared to upload your certificate of completion at checkout when registering for university credit. Allow 1-2 weeks for your program completion to be verified and processed at University of the Pacific.

After your documentation has been reviewed and approved, your course grade(s) will be submitted for posting at University of the Pacific - Benerd College. You may proceed to order an e-transcript after your course grades are posted at UOP.
