Graduate-Level Semester Units/Credits

Earn Graduate-Level Semester Credit with E.L. Achieve and University of the Pacific – Benerd College. Registration for university credit is open to all current (ongoing) and past E.L. Achieve participants. Graduate-level professional development credit is not part of a degree program at University of the Pacific but can be transferred at the discretion of your institution for salary advancement and state licensing requirements.

Coursework Requirements

E.L. Achieve offers a variety of professional development opportunities, each comprised of different unique experiences and expectations for the awarding of graduate-level credit. There is no additional coursework required after registering for university credit with University of the Pacific. Simply complete a credit-approved professional development offering with E.L. Achieve and register for the respective course(s) to earn graduate-level credit for your completed experience.

 

E.L. Achieve staff will verify and validate your course application within 1-2 weeks from when you register for university credit.

 

How many credits can you earn?

  • PEDUC 9281: Symposium (two-day event) – (1-4 credits)
  • PEDUC 9100: Systematic ELD Leadership Seminar (1-4 credits)
  • PEDUC 9798: Systematic ELD Participant Institute – (1-4 credits)
  • PEDUC 9799: Secondary Constructing Meaning Leadership Seminar(1-4 credits)
  • PEDUC 9797: Secondary Constructing Meaning Participant Institute(1-4 credits)

About the Credits & Pacific

The credits offered are post-baccalaureate, graded, graduate-level semester units of credit, provided directly through University of the Pacific – Benerd College. They are specifically designed to meet the needs of educators for Salary Advancement and Recertification.  The credits are acceptable where local districts approve and applicable to state licensing where authorized. We always encourage that you check with your employer for acceptability of these credits. Course participants are responsible to determine acceptability of these credits for their intended use. Each graduate-level semester credit is equivalent to 15 hours of academic involvement.

Grades & Transcripts

Completed courses are graded Pass/No Pass and will appear on an Official Transcript from University of the Pacific – Benerd College. An Official Transcript with your final course grade(s) is available from Pacific upon successful completion of coursework. The course ending date that will appear on your transcript will reflect the date on which your completed coursework was reviewed and graded.

If you are a previous participant seeking to earn credit retroactively, please contact E.L. Achieve to verify your program completion sooner.
