Earn graduate-level semester credit with Fresno County Superintendent of Schools Induction Program and University of the Pacific – Benerd College.

University of the Pacific is pleased to offer the opportunity to earn graduate-level semester (non-degree) credit upon completion of course requirements with Fresno County Superintendent of Schools. Dedicated in assisting educators and teachers across the nation, our professional development course options are designed to be practical, meaningful, and affordable. Graduate-level credit opportunities are available to all current (ongoing) and previous participants of credit-approved programs with Fresno County Superintendent of Schools.

Participating in a professional development opportunity with Fresno County Superintendent of Schools and University of the Pacific will provide you with a convenient and cost-effective way of earning credit within a timeframe that works best for your schedule.

Proof of Completion

Fresno County Superintendent of Schools’ Induction staff will verify completion of your Induction program or Mentor/Coach training after your registration is submitted. No further documentation is required after registering for your courses. If for any reason there is an issue with your course registration(s), our team will reach out to provide you with an update and assistance.

Induction Candidates: Year 1 (4 credits)
Induction Candidates: Year 2 (4 credits)
Induction Mentors: Year 1 (4 credits)
Induction Mentors: Year 2 (4 credits)
Induction Coach: Year 3 (4 credits)
Early Completion Option: Year 1 (4 credits)

About the Credits & Pacific

The credits offered are post-baccalaureate, graded, graduate-level semester (non-degree) credits provided directly through University of the Pacific – Benerd College. They are specifically designed to meet the needs of educators for salary advancement and recertification.  The credits are acceptable where local districts approve and applicable to state licensing where authorized. We always encourage that you check with your employer for acceptability of these credits. Course participants are responsible to determine acceptability of these credits for their intended use.

Grades & Transcripts

Completed courses are graded under the Pass/No Credit grading system. All course grades will appear on an official transcript from University of the Pacific – Benerd College.

Successful completion of the Fresno County Superintendent of Schools' Induction Program is a prerequisite to registering for graduate-level credit with University of the Pacific - Benerd College.

Your FCSS Professional Development Coordinator will verify your program completion. Allow 1-2 weeks for your program completion to be verified and processed at University of the Pacific - Benerd College.

Earn Graduate-Level Credit on an Official Transcript from University of the Pacific - Benerd College.
After your documentation has been reviewed and approved, your course grade(s) will be submitted for posting at University of the Pacific - Benerd College. You may proceed to order an e-transcript after your course grades are posted at UOP.

Important! Registration is open from March 2025-August 2025 for all current (ongoing) and past FCSS Induction Teachers and Coaches. Retroactive enrollment will be available for participating teachers and coaches who have completed their FCSS Induction Program after 2017.
