University of the Pacific-Benerd College is pleased to offer up to 6 graduate-level semester units of credit (per year) for completing the Huntington Beach Union High School District Induction Program. This unique offering is available to all current (ongoing) and past Induction candidates. Graduate-level professional development credit is not part of a degree program at Pacific but can be transferred at the discretion of your institution for salary advancement and state licensing requirements.

Registration Deadline: Candidates have up to 3 years upon completion of the program to apply for university credit.
Induction Candidates & ECO: Documentation is required at checkout when registering for university credit. HBUHSD Induction candidates must submit proof of their completed Induction Program in order to earn credit with University of the Pacific, Benerd College. At checkout, please be prepared to upload your HBUHSD Completion Letter.

Early Completion Option: Year 1 (6 credits)
The credits offered are post-baccalaureate, graded, graduate-level semester credits/units, provided directly through the University of the Pacific, Benerd College. They are specifically designed to meet the needs of educators for salary advancement and re-certification. The credits are acceptable where local districts approve and applicable to state licensing where authorized. We always encourage that you check with your employer for acceptability of these credits. Course participants are responsible to determine acceptability of these credits for their intended use. Each graduate-level semester credit/unit is equivalent to 15 hours of academic involvement.
