Complete your Induction Program with Hanford Elementary SD and register for university credit.

Step 2

Allow 1-2 weeks for Hanford Elementary School District to validate your program participation.

Step 3

Earn Graduate-Level Credit from University of the Pacific, Benerd College.

Graduate-Level Semester Credit - Teacher Induction

University of the Pacific-Benerd College is proud to offer up to 6 graduate-level semester units of credit for completing the Hanford Elementary School District Teacher Induction Program.This unique offering is available to all current (ongoing) and past Induction candidates. Graduate-level professional development credit is not part of a degree program at Pacific but can be transferred at the discretion of your institution for salary advancement and state licensing requirements. Candidates seeking credit for such purposes are advised to check with the appropriate agencies and gain approval prior to registering. 

Enrollment is available year round and candidates can register for credit at any time. 

Step 1: Complete the registration process for your courses with University of the Pacific.

Step 2: Allow Hanford Elementary SD to verify your program participation. Hanford Elementary SD Induction Staff will validate your Induction Program completion within 1-2 weeks after your register for your courses. 

Step 3: Order an Official Transcript from UOP.

The credits offered are post-baccalaureate, graded, graduate-level semester credits/units, provided directly through the University of the Pacific, Benerd College. They are specifically designed to meet the needs of educators for salary advancement and re-certification.  The credits are acceptable where local districts approve and applicable to state licensing where authorized. We always encourage that you check with your employer for acceptability of these credits. Course participants are responsible to determine acceptability of these credits for their intended use. Each graduate-level semester credit/unit is equivalent to 15 hours of academic involvement.

What’s Next?

Upon registering for your Induction courses, you will receive a confirmation email from our professional development office. No further documentation is required. Once your documentation and payment has been reviewed, approved and processed, you will be assigned a “Passing (P)” letter grade for your Induction courses.
