University of the Pacific is pleased to offer the opportunity to earn graduate-level semester (non-degree) credit upon completion of course requirements with Key Learning Center. Dedicated in assisting educators and teachers across the nation, our professional development course options are designed to be practical, meaningful, and affordable. At only $62 per semester credit, opportunities are available to all current (ongoing) and previous participants of credit-approved programs with Key Learning Center.
Participating in a professional development opportunity with Key Learning Center and University of the Pacific will provide you with a convenient and cost-effective way of earning credit within a timeframe that works best for your schedule.
Key Learning participants must submit proof of their completed course in order to earn credit with University of the Pacific, Benerd College. No further documentation is required after registering for your courses and submitting proof of completion. If for any reason there is an issue with your course registration(s), our team will reach out to provide you with an update and assistance. Completely designed for busy teachers like you, you have up to 1 full year, from when you complete a Keys to Learning course, to register for university credit.
How many credits can you earn?
Each course offered is approved to be registered for 1-4 graduate level credits with University of the Pacific, Benerd College. You choose how many credits you want to earn after completion of your course.
1 credit – $62
2 credits – $124
3 credits – $186
4 credits – $248
Completed courses are letter graded. An official transcript is available upon successful completion of course requirements. The course ending date that will appear on your transcript will reflect the date your information was reviewed and approved.
The credits offered are post-baccalaureate, graded, graduate-level (non-degree) semester units of credit provided directly through the University of the Pacific – Benerd College. They are primarily designed to be used towards salary advancement and recertification. The credits are acceptable where local districts approve and applicable to state licensing where authorized. We always encourage you to check with your employer for the acceptability of these credits. Course participants are responsible for determining the acceptability of these credits for their intended use. Each graduate-level semester credit/unit is equivalent to 15 hours of academic involvement. Graduate-level semester credit is not applicable towards a degree program at University of the Pacific – Benerd College.
