Course Description
If you have spent hours of your own time incorporating teaching strategies into your classroom, this course is for you. Anything you have done on your own time to introduce teaching strategies into your lessons makes you eligible to earn University of the Pacific professional development credit for your hard work and diligence. You can earn from 1 to 8 hours of graduate-level semester credit (1 for every 15 hours of relevant work) for work you do (or have already done) on your own time to integrate strategies into your classroom. Simply submit (1) a short description of the objectives you incorporated (or plan to incorporate) into your curriculum or daily lessons, (2) proof of your completed objectives, and (3) a timeline verifying the hours of work you have invested enhancing your professional development.

The credits offered are post-baccalaureate, graded, graduate-level semester units of credit, provided directly through University of the Pacific, Benerd College. They are specifically designed to meet the needs of educators for Salary Advancement and Recertification. The credits/units are acceptable where local districts approve and applicable to state licensing where authorized. We always encourage you to check with your employer for acceptability of these credits/units. Course participants are responsible to determine acceptability of these credits for their intended use. Each graduate-level semester credit is equivalent to 15 hours of academic involvement.
