Developing Practical Strategies for Differentiated Instruction is intended to provide professional development credit for educators who spend hours of their own time discovering and developing practical strategies to adjust, modify, and adapt their subject content to make it accessible to all students of all abilities and all levels. Through this course, dedicated teachers like you can earn professional development credit for their extra effort and dedication to helping their students through differentiated instruction. Simply review all the strategies for differentiating your classroom instruction that you have researched and developed ways to implement in your classroom–on your own time, outside of professionally paid hours. You may also, of course, research and develop practical strategies for differentiated instruction during the time allowed for this course. Either way, earning PD credit for your efforts to apply differentiated instruction is simple: once you have developed and implemented new practical strategies for differentiated instruction into your classroom, submit a written reflection, along with a time log and proof of implementation, to the University of the Pacific for evaluation.
