Course Description
This course is designed for educators who go the extra mile to take their teaching to a new level of creativity. As educators, we know that creativity, while often appearing effortless, takes hours of preparation–much of it before you ever set anything in front of the students. We want you to get the credit and recognition you deserve for all those creative teaching ideas you come up with and incorporate into your classroom, so University of the Pacific has provided a way for you to earn credit for the time you spend outside of professionally paid hours brainstorming, creating, and preparing those creative lessons that so enrapture and captivate your students and make your classroom fun and exciting! For every 15 hours you spend developing activities to engage your students through creative teaching ideas (outside of professionally paid hours), you can earn 1 hour of graduate-level semester credit. You just have to submit (1) a short description of the creative teaching ideas you have already created (or that you plan to create), (2) proof of completed objectives, and (3) a timeline verifying the hours of work you have invested.
